Mark Hogan Named New CEO of WEDC

Governor Scott Walker has announced the appointment of Mark Hogan as CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC).

Hogan has worked for nearly 40 years at M&I Bank and BMO Harris Bank. After retiring as M&I’s Executive President/Chief Credit Officer, he joined BMO Harris in 2011 to serve as a Senior Advisor.

Hogan has also served as Chairman of the Board for Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) since March. Additionally, he has served on the board of the Children’s Hospital & health System, the Archdiocese of Milwaukee finance council, Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, The Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Milwaukee, the Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin, the Milwaukee County Historical Society, Marquette University High School, and Mount Mary University.

His education includes a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and a M.B.A. from Marquette University.
Hogan replaces outgoing WEDC CEO Reed Hall who announced his retirement in August.
