Milwaukee played host to governors from across the nation this summer as the National Governors Association held its 2013 Summer Meeting there. The meeting provided the rare opportunity for governors to gather together to discuss policy issues facing the states.
WisconsinEye has made numerous videos from the Meeting available on its website.
At the end of the conference, it was announced that Gov. Walker will be a member of the NGA executive committee for the 2013-2014 year. The executive committee sets the association’s priorities and determines its activities.
This is Wisconsin’s third time hosting the National Governors Association annual meeting – the previous events were held in Milwaukee in 1998 and in Madison in 1914.
