Study Committee Members Appointed

Each interim summer, the Wisconsin Legislative Council staff provides legal and policy support to several study committees established by the Joint Legislative Council, a joint committee of the two houses whose primary responsibility is the creation and oversight of these study committees. This year there are nine study committees addressing issues including: law enforcement body cameras, property tax assessments, and alcohol beverage enforcement, among others.

The Joint Legislative Council has appointed members of the 2018 interim study committees.

The 2018 legislative study committees will begin meeting this summer and work into the fall. Typically, the work completed by the study committees results in legislation recommended for consideration by the legislature in the following session.
