Sen. Dale Schultz (R-Richland Center) is something of an enigma in the Wisconsin Senate. Formerly one of the state Republican Party’s leaders, Schultz is now on the outs with many members of the party after voting with Democrats against the 2011 budget repair bill and against the mining bill in 2012. Schultz now faces a Republican challenger should he choose to run for re-election in 2014.
