The Wisconsin Ethics Commission recently completed an overhaul of its Eye on Lobbying website, a repository of information about lobbying activities in Wisconsin. Licensed lobbyists and registered lobbying interests must use the website to report information about their expenditures and other efforts to influence state legislation and administrative rulemaking. Members of the public can access this information for free.

New tools have been added, both for users who must regularly submit information, as well as for those using the site to search for information. The website also received a cosmetic update.

The Association of Wisconsin Lobbyists is hosting a seminar for lobbyists on July 12 with training and compliance presentations from Ethics Commission staff, including a demonstration of the website and its new features.
