3M Legislative Day 2018

3M held their annual legislative day in Madison this week.  With four plants in Wisconsin and as the manufacturer of products the state uses, 3M makes it a priority to have routine communication with legislators and policy makers on issues that are important to the company and the Wisconsin plants.

Tuesday evening 3M had an opportunity to visit with Gov. Scott Walker. On Wednesday, with locations in Prairie du Chien, Menomonie, Wausau, and Cumberland, plant managers met with their state senators and representatives.  This included a visit to newly elected Patty Schachtner, from the 10th Senate District.  She represents the Menomonie facility.

Additionally, 3M employees were able to meet with representatives from the Department of Transportation, Department of Natural Resources, Medicaid Program, and legislative leaders.
