Gov. Scott Walker signed ten bills into law at the state capitol on Wednesday, June 21. Walker signed several bills passed by the legislature in the June 14 floor session, as well as some previous proposals from the legislature this session. The bills included:

  • AB 25, which eliminates work permits for 16- and 17-year olds (Act 11)
  • SB 89, which makes various changes to tax administration, including defining restaurant for the purposes of alcohol regulation (Act 17)
  • AB 125, which allows pharmacists to extend prescription drug orders in some circumstances when a refill authorization cannot be obtained (Act 19)
  • AB 146, which expands settings where dental hygienists can practice without a licensed dentist (Act 20)
  • SB 148, which legalizes delivery drones on Wisconsin sidewalks and crosswalks (Act 13)

Walker signed three more bills on Friday, June 23. At Star Prairie Trout Farm in St. Croix County, Walker signed two bills authored by Rep. Mary Felzkowski (R-Irma): AB 160 that loosens fish farm regulations (Act 21) and AB 56 that allows for advertising gas prices by the half-gallon (Act 22).

Walker made a stop at Green Bay Police Headquarters later that day to sign AB 58 that eliminates requirements for law enforcement dogs that have bitten a person to be examined and quarantined (Act 23).
