Following the January special election and the departure of Sen. Frank Lasee (R-De Pere) to the Department of Workforce Development, the Senate has made several leadership and committee changes.

• Alberta Darling (R-River Hills) – appointed Chair of Committee on Universities and Technical Colleges
• Devin LeMahieu (R-Oostburg) – added to Committee on Agriculture, Small Business and Tourism
• Luther Olsen (R-Ripon) – appointed Vice-Chair of Committee on Public Benefits, Licensing and State-Federal Relations
• Chris Kapenga (R-Delafield) – added to Committee on Labor and Regulatory Reform
• David Craig (R-Big Bend) – appointed Chair of Committee on Insurance, Financial Services, Constitution and Federalism (new committee name)
• Van Wanggaard – moved to caucus chair from caucus vice-chair, replacing former Sen. Sheila Harsdorf (R-River Falls)
• Patrick Testin (R-Stevens Point) – elected caucus vice-chair
• Patty Schachtner (D-Somerset) – added to Committees on Agriculture, Small Business and Tourism (replacing Harsdorf); Sporting Heritage, Mining and Forestry; and Universities and Technical Colleges (replacing Harsdorf)
