In response to the Legislative Audit Bureau’s recent audit of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC), the public-private job-creation agency has faced increased scrutiny and its budget is in jeopardy.

Gov. Walker has launched a “Cabinet on the Road” initiative to give the Governor and the Cabinet leaders the opportunity to listen and gather feedback from area business leaders and economic development groups around the state.

Nate Silver's popular FiveThirtyEight blog asks "Which Governors Are Most Vulnerable in 2014?" While Wisconsin's Gov. Walker isn't singled out for analysis, governors in several of Wisconsin's neighboring states are.

The Governor continually seeks Wisconsin citizens to appoint to the state’s 200-plus boards, commissions, councils, and taskforces. Members of Wisconsin state boards and commissions are vital participants in policy making, regulation, advisory and advocacy efforts for a wide variety of issues affecting all Wisconsinites.
