Recent Developments Mercury Advisory Group Given Deadline Jan. 9, 2002 - Lloyd Eagan, DNR's Air Bureau Chief, gave the mercury citizen advisory committee a March 2002 deadline to complete its recommendations on the controversial mercury rule. The citizen group met on Jan. 9 to continue deliberations on the proposed mercury rule, which included a DNR briefing on the need for the rule, a review of the committee's priorities, and completion of the agenda for their Jan. 18 meeting.
