Mercury Advisory Group Given Deadline

Jan. 9, 2002 - Lloyd Eagan, DNR's Air Bureau Chief, gave the mercury citizen advisory committee a March 2002 deadline to complete its recommendations on the controversial mercury rule. The citizen group met on Jan. 9 to continue deliberations on the proposed mercury rule, which included a DNR briefing on the need for the rule, a review of the committee's priorities, and completion of the agenda for their Jan. 18 meeting. Dec. 3, 2001 - DNR presented the Air Toxics Technical Advisory Group its latest NR 445 draft and the rule-making schedule for the sweeping rewrite of Wisconsin's air toxics program.
